However, the premise will remain similar and we will see original characters such as Sweet Tooth, who is the scary looking clown with the fire head.

We will also meet John Doe, who is the milkman tasked with delivering a package across a post-apocalyptic world. John Doe is played by Anthony Mackie and the crazed milk-man is in for a real ride.

Anthony Mackie’s TV series

Glen Adilman, EVP Comedy Development explained Sony TV’s desire to cast the hilarious Anthony Mackie: “We’ve been big fans of Anthony’s phenomenal body of work over the years and knew he was the only actor who could play a character as complex, funny, and compelling as John Doe,” he recounted. “Fortunately for us, he agreed.”

You may recognise Anthony Mackie from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+ and he is also set to become Captain America 4.

It is unknown who will be playing Sweet Tooth, John’s arch-nemesis, but as the series will involve the likes of Michael Jonathan Smith as one of the writers and producers the series is sure to prove a hit.
