Winger Harvey Elliott suffered a major ankle injury as a result of a strong challenge from Pascal Struijk.
It wasn’t necessarily out of control from the Leeds man, but the follow through was awkward and Elliott now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The teenager has suffered a major blow and needs all the support he can get, with Liverpool teammate Thiago joining in.
Thiago stated that Liverpool are together, and the entire squad are there for Elliott throughout his recovery.
Thiago knows what it’s like to suffer a major injury. He tore his knee ligaments at Bayern Munich and was out for a year.
