Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing a photo of Mohamed Salah and the rest of the squad at the AXA Training Centre.

What’s the story?

Well, the Reds presented the Egypt international with a special shirt to commemorate Salah scoring 100 Premier League goals.

The 29-year-old reached the astonishing feat at Elland Road on Sunday, after side-footing Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross beyond Illan Meslier.

Salah only needed 162 games to hit a century of Premier League goals, with 98 of them coming for Liverpool, and two for Chelsea.

Additionally, the £34m forward has also amassed 36 assists, which makes for a simply incredible record in England’s top-flight.

You can see the photo of Salah holding his 100 shirt alongside Jürgen Klopp, staff members and his fellow teammates below.

With Sadio Mane currently sitting on 97 Premier League goals, Liverpool would be wise to keep that shirt close by, as it may be needed again soon!

Is Mohamed Salah Liverpool’s best ever signing?

In this day and age, £34m actually isn’t that much money.

It’s only £7m more than the £27m Crystal Palace spent on Christian Benteke, while it’s much less than the £45m West Ham spent on Sebastien Haller.

Even Felipe Anderson, who scored just 12 goals for the Hammers before departing, cost £35m.

In that respect, for Liverpool to get Salah in a deal worth just £34m is astounding business – we don’t think it’ll be topped.

The ex-Roma forward is genuinely in the top five players across Europe, in our view, and is surely worth at least £200m nowadays.

As far as bargains go, this one is right up there with the best.

For now, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about the photo coming from the AXA Training Centre…
