There is a new concern for the college football players which are the return of the college football would be a blessing in spite of the pandemic impacting sports and games. The resumption of the college football would be a no-risk proposition.

The pandemic Covid 19 does not spare anybody and that the idea that young people can’t get affected by Covid 19 has proved to be a myth and there is a spiking concern now that the virus could cause long term complications including affecting the vital organs such as heart.

A study in Germany proved that 78 % of the recovered patients were found to have structural changes in their hearts and 60 % showed signs of myocarditis. This Myocarditis has impacted this season with Eduardo Rodriguez missing out due to the mild case of
Covid 19 and also Houston Cougars announced that he was opting out of the season because he has had complications with his heart.

As it is known that college football is not an organized and does not happen in a structured environment and schools had to shut down off season workouts when campuses were empty. The environment has become uncontrollable with the players surrounded by either the students or the teachers or the staff.

One of the Republicans from Nebraska had written that Life is about tradeoffs and that there are no guarantees that the college football will be completely safe.

With these risks greater and higher the college football to happen this season should be question and given second thoughts by the government and the organizers. Since covid 19 is a serious virus and is not just going to go away and people will not be bothered too much until it is too late.
