HP Spectre x360 Review: A Holistic Guide To Understanding!

The HP Spectre x360 (2021) is a great update to a laptop that was already great.

It has the latest Intel hardware and is a beautiful 2-in-1 device. It can get a little loud, and it costs a lot, but it looks great and has great battery life.

It’s hard to make something better than something that already works well, but the HP Spectre x360 (2021) has done it.

Intel’s Evo certification raises the bar for what to expect from these laptops.

Holistic Review!

To meet Intel’s standards, HP had to improve not only how well the laptop worked, but also how it looked and how long its battery lasted. Our 10 battery life test, lasted almost 13 hours.

This makes the 2021 update of the Spectre x360 one of the best laptops on the market right now.

It builds on what we liked about the 2020 version, which we reviewed here.

If you’re worried about battery life and want something that can keep up with Chromebooks and MacBooks during long workdays, need something you can easily take with you, or want something powerful, the HP will be able to satisfy just about any user who isn’t a hard-core gamer.

HP Spectre x360

The HP Spectre x360 makes some mistakes, though.

It’s a bit awkward to use as a tablet because it’s a bit too big to use comfortably that way.

If that’s an important feature for you and you want a laptop that’s easy to use no matter what shape it’s in, you might want to consider a Surface Pro 7 or iPad instead, which are thin, light tablets that can be used with keyboards.

It Has Many Features!

The fans also make a lot of noise when you’re using the laptop, and sometimes even when you’re not. Even when the Spectre x360 was closed, we heard the fans kick a few times.

It’s the only part of the design that doesn’t feel as high-quality as the rest.

Aside from those problems, this laptop is very powerful and great for everyday use, including work.

But it’s expensive, starting at $1,349/£1,199/AU$3,339 (prices start at different amounts in different markets).

But if you have the money for it, you won’t be let down.

What About Its Price!

The HP Spectre x360 (2021) can be bought in different ways and at different prices.

A model with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD starts at $1,149.99 in the US.

In the UK, the base model costs £1,199.99 and has an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD.

The version we’re going to review here has an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The price is $1,349.99/£1,399.99.

With a high price, you expect a high-end design, and the HP Spectre x360 has just that (2021).

We never doubted that it would, because the last model was one of the best-looking laptops we’ve ever seen.

Are There Any Surprises!

So, it’s not a big surprise that HP’s new model is another beautiful laptop.

The Spectre x360 looks pretty much the same as the previous model, which isn’t a bad thing since we liked how it looked.

HP Spectre x360

The Spectre x360 is made of brushed metal and comes in a variety of colour combinations.

The screen can flip back all the way, turning the Spectre x360 into a tablet-like device.

The 360-degree hinge feels solid and reliable.

The word “Spectre” is engraved on the right side, which is a nice touch that adds to the overall high-end feel of the Spectre x360.

What About The Performance!

The HP Spectre x360 (2021) is a big improvement over the previous model, especially in terms of its parts and performance.

The laptop is a showcase for Intel’s latest mobile processors.

The review unit we were sent has a processor made by Intel called Core i7-1165G7.

This is a quad-core processor that can boost up to 4.70GHz, which is a big improvement over the Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor that was in last year’s model.

What About Life Of Battery!

The HP Spectre x360 (2021) has a long battery life, which is one of the most important ways that the Intel Evo platform improves the quality of life.

In our battery life test, which loops a 1080p video file at 50% brightness until the battery dies, it lasted a great 11 hours and 22 minutes.

The last HP Spectre x360 did well in this test, too, with a score of 10 hours and 55 minutes.

Still, the extra half-hour is nice, and it shows that the more powerful parts haven’t made the battery life worse.

What About The Software Performance!

The HP Spectre x360 (2021) is high-end enough that it doesn’t have too much extra software, and it comes with an HP Tilt Pen because it’s a 2-in-1 touchscreen.

There is also a physical kill switch for the webcam.

This should be standard on every laptop by 2021, but many still haven’t caught up.
