Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha episode 7 and 8 release explained

As the love story continues to flower, when will Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha episode 7 and 8 release around the world through the Netflix streaming platform?

This week, we say goodbye to one of the biggest Korean dramas in the world, Hospital Playlist.

However, there is plenty more K-content available for you to enjoy through Netflix, notably the premiere of Squid Game and the continuation of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.

The latter series, starring Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min A, has become an instant classic since premiering in late-August both domestically in South Korea and around the world.

Now, with love starting to bloom in Gongjin, fans are desperate to know when the upcoming episodes of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, 7 and 8 in the series, will release on Netflix.

How many episodes are left in season 1?

Season 1 of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is currently scheduled to consist of 16 episodes, with the finale expected to premiere on October 17th – so there is still plenty of time left to enjoy the K-drama.

Unfortunately, episodes are not labelled with individual titles, so it remains difficult to predict the focus of each new chapter further than the preview video, see below.

The ‘most buzzworthy’ cast…

Whilst Netflix does not provide any official data on their viewership statistics, there is plenty of data from South Korea to demonstrate Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’s domestic success.

According to AGB Nielsen, episode 6 marked a series record being watched by 10.270% of the national audience share in South Korea.

However, the more-notable accomplishment is the cast themselves. According to a report from Good Data Corporation, the K-dramas two leading actors, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min A, landed at the number 1 and 2 spots on this week’s ‘most buzzworthy’ actor rankings.

A conversation with DinDin…

On September 12th, the latest episode of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ season 4 aired on KBS2 in which popular tv personality Lim Cheol, better known as DinDin, sat down with lead actor Kim Seon Ho.

When asked about how his character was able to talk to everybody in Gongjin, Seon Ho said that he “learned it all from you [DinDin.”

Seon Ho would then clarify that speaking at a comfortable level to complete strangers later “felt affectionate”, so he “didn’t need to do any particular character analysis for the role.”
