Fabinho has raved about Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott on Sky Sports and has praised him for his performance against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.
Liverpool defensive midfielder Fabinho has been wowed by the 18-year-old, and believes that the youngster is one of the big positives of the season so far.
The English teenager is a winger by trade, but the former Fulham man was deployed on the right of a midfield-three against Chelsea before the international break.
The Premier League game at Anfield ended in a 1-1 draw.
Fabinho said about Elliott on Sky Sports: “The quality with the ball, Harvey Elliott personally, he started the last two games, he did really well.
“He played a big game against Chelsea, he did really well, he has a lot of personalty, a lot of quality.”
Elliott is only 18, but he is already showing some great signs and the future seems bright for him.
Fabinho is one of the best players in the Premier League.
The Brazil international works with Elliott on a daily basis, and him speaking so highly of his Liverpool teammate underlines just how good he is.
The Liverpool no.67 has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season.
Elliott scored seven goals and gave 11 assists in the Championship during his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season.
Elliott can only get better in the coming months and years, especially if he continues to play regularly for Liverpool.
