Chicago White Sox Rough Up Rookie With Four Consecutive Home Runs

White Sox

In the history of White Sox’s franchise, it is the 2nd time that they had 4 consecutive batters hit home runs by making a lead of 7-0. The players involved in making this a historical moment for the franchise were Catcher Yasmani Grandal, First baseman Jose Abreu and outfielder Eloy Jimenez followed up with solo blasts.

While making this a historical moment, these fantastic players have totally crushed the debuting moment in Major League Baseball for Cardinals pitcher Roel Ramirez, 25-year-old. It happened so quickly after Roel Ramirez could retire Luis Robert, but things went downhill soon after.

The Chicago’s this amazing White Sox team is now the 10th team in the Major League Baseball history who had hit a back-to-back-to-back-to-back home run against the St. Louis Cardinals last Sunday afternoon. At the same time, they joined Washington National to do the same(4 consecutive home runs) twice.

If we talk about some physics here, the exit velocities on those historical 4 homers were 105, 108,112, and 101 miles per hour. You can also say that they were smocking hot to even intercept…

Last time this 4 homer record was made in 2008, near about the same date of the Sunday match, i.e., 14th Aug 2008 (12 years back). The success sharers were Jim Thome, Paul Konerko, Alexei Ramirez and Juan Uribe against Kansas City Royals’ players Joel Peralta and Rob Tejeda.

Before the season’s start, Roel Ramirez was on 22nd-best-prospect as per the FanGraphs for Cardinals. But unfortunately, this fast bowler had to see 4 homerun record on his balls in his debutant moment of Major League Baseball.
