Burger King are set to present their newest celebrity collaborations and TikTok star Chase Hudson, aka Lil Huddy, has created his very own meal as a part of the collab with the fast-food chain.
In the past year, fast-food chains such as McDonald’s have found immense success through celebrity collaborations for their meals. Hence, it was about time Burger King jumped on the bandwagon and announced their own celeb curated meals as well.
The upcoming collaborations will feature meals curated by Lil Huddy, Nelly as well as Anitta, and here’s the catch, the celebs gotta keep it real, meaning use their real names for the meal.
Chase Hudson’s Meal explored
The up and coming musician gave us a sneak peek of the meal’s packaging on his Instagram stories recently. While from the outside, it does look enticing, it’s the inside that we are really keen about.
He further posted another snap of the food included in the collab. The Chase Hudson meal includes a hand-breaded Spicy Ch’King burger with cheese, 4 pieces of mozzarella sticks and a 16oz chocolate shake. And, we kid you not, it looks delicious!
From the fast-food chain’s press release we know that the meals will release on September 12 at participating U.S. Burger King restaurants. Chase’ meal, alongside others in this round of celebs collab, will be available for $6 on the BK® App as well. All you need to do is sign up!
What is Burger King’s ‘Keep It Real’ initiative about?
Burger King’s Keep It Real initiative has been ongoing for some time now. In their press release, the company said: “We’re committed to delivering on the promise of real food – which is why we’ve permanently banned 120 artificial ingredients and counting from our food menu nationwide.”
The blacklisted ingredients include sodium ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate and potassium hydrogen sulphite.
Burger King’s Chief Marketing Officer for North America, Ellie Doty, said: “By banning these 120 ingredients from our food, we’re offering guests an easy choice – delicious food made with quality ingredients.”
