Need a buddy for that Bud Light? The Brew Brothers are here to give you company! We get it. Times are hard. But what if we tell you that you can find some solace in the fact that the favorite duo may most likely see a new installment – Brew Brothers Season 2!
Although Brew Brothers garnered mixed reviews, many believed the lack of positive response could be from first season jitters. That being said, the eight-episode series shows potential, and it’d be a waste not to watch it. Right?
Brew Brothers Season 2 Release
The show is created by real-life brothers Jeff and Greg Schaffer released in April 2020. Normally, what takes up to 3 months before a show is renewed for another season, word on the street is that the Brew Brothers might get a second shot at their glory hole. (Get it? Adam at the brewery… I’m sure you got it.)
Since Netflix’ Unsolved Mysteries got canned by CBS after failing to boost their ratings, the Brew Brothers will likely be back on the digital platform for the second round. And if luck has it, fans can expect the show to be available on their devices in mid-2021.
Brew Brothers Cast
Playing the part of brothers Wilhelm and Adam are Alam Aisenberg and improv comedian Mike Castle. Carmen Flood and Marques Ray also star in the show as bar staff Sarah and Chuy. The sitcom also stars the sex-crazed couple Elvis and Becky played by Zach Reino and Inanna Sarkis.
Brew Brothers Season 2 Plot
Brew Brothers revolve around two estranged brothers who have to keep their differences aside and work together to resurrect their failing brewery. While Wilhelm is the cheerful next-door lad, quite contrary to his brother is Adam, abrasive, defensive and borderline uptight. Scratch that.
He’s a tough cookie to break. With much persuasion, thanks to Sarah, Wilhelm agrees to join forces with Adam, albeit reluctantly, and even lets him move into his house. Sounds like a recipe for fun already!
Other Works by the Creators
Apart from the sitcom, Jeff Schaffer is the genius behind the iconic Festivus pole from Seinfeld. 2004 teen comedy Eurotrip too was written and directed by Jeff. He also co-wrote Bruno (2009) and the spectacular The Dictator (2012) starring Sacha Baron Cohen.
Under Greg’s credit is a whole heap of comedy series such as Mad About You, The Tracy Morgan Show, That 70s Show, Tucker, Notes from the Underbelly, True Jackson, etc.
For now, let’s crack open that Bud Light and enjoy two brothers going at each other’s throats. And if you manage to finish the entire season, you can end up with the inevitable Hangover.
