OnePlus phones were affordable “flagship killers” OnePlus 7 and above aren’t mid-range.
OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t return to the brand’s mid-range grandeur, but it shows promise. This phone is an answer to luxury phones from 2022.
OnePlus 10 Pro price. Not ‘budget phone’ cheap – it won’t be next to Nokia or Moto G – but low relative to Pro and phones, which may prevent competition.
After Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Oppo Find X5 Pro, the OnePlus 10 Pro was released in China in December 2021 and globally in March 2022. It undercuts phones with similar features.
OnePlus-Oppo manufactured two comparable phones. OnePlus’ software, Hasselblad camera modes, and displays are cheaper.
Size And Dimension?
There’s no “standard” OnePlus 10.
6.7-inch 2K screen perfect for TV, gaming, and social media apps.
Small-handed folks can’t reach the screen’s corners, but they have more pixels.
2022 Androids have a strong Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Email, photo editing, and gaming benefit.

Most premium Android phones have this overheating CPU. Online games make phones overheat.
We played before the OnePlus 10 Pro became too hot thanks to its cooling features. The Snapdragon 8 alternative. Mid-range CPUs are unaffected (and are often just as good for gaming).
Camera?
The 48MP primary, 50MP ultra-wide, and 13MP telephoto lenses take good images, but the OnePlus 10 Pro has flaws.
OnePlus 10 Pro’s Hasselblad modes are fantastic.
Retailer-specific OnePlus 10 Pro. Asia and Europe offer 80W rapid charging, which fills phones in 30 minutes.
80W is faster than 65W.
It may not matter because few US phones charge faster.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be the best Pro phone in April 2022 due to its low pricing and amazing features. Great Android phone.
OnePlus 10 Pro Pricing?
Your region may restrict the OnePlus 10 Pro sizes.
8GB RAM and 128GB storage come with the $899 variant. £899 ($1,170, AU$1,570) gets you 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in the UK.
$999/£949/AU$1,549 for Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus. Oppo Find X5 Pro costs $1,500 and Xiaomi 12 Pro costs $999/£1049 (approximately AU$1,650). OnePlus 10 Pro comparable.
Black is cheaper than green in the UK. US manufacturers provide single-colour variants.
OnePlus 10 Pro preorders concluded on April 14.

OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera bulge isn’t unusual.
The huge camera platform is surprisingly little. PThe phonewobbles while flat.
The bump contains three camera lenses and an LED ring light, not four.
OnePlus’ Android phone has a unique feature. USB-C port, volume rocker, power button, and alert slider.
Large OnePlus 10 Pro. 163 x 73.9 x 8.6mm and 201g may deter buyers.
The phone’s back is protected by Gorilla Glass. China’s white version isn’t available elsewhere.
It Is Also Dust Resistant!
The phone’s dust- and water resistance are unknown without an IP classification.
screen OnePlus
Its 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is huge. Big, bright, beautiful screen.
Outdoor and dark viewing is enjoyable with 2K resolution and 1,300 nits of brightness. OnePlus’ technology learns and adjusts the screen brightness.
OnePlus uses LTPO 2.0 to swing between 1Hz and 120Hz for photography and gaming. OnePlus says this improves battery life over LTPO.
HDR10+ supports a billion colours. Billion-color TVs and HDR aren’t for everyone.
Always-on displays like the OnePlus 10 Pro’s showtime and notifications. This uses slowly.
OnePlus Photography
If you solely care about a phone’s camera, don’t get the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The 48MP f/1.8 main, 50MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto (3.3x optical zoom) cameras performed admirably.
Main camera fun. Detail-rich wide-angle pictures. AI scene optimization raises saturation, creating unnatural photos.
Ultrawide camera flaw. OnePlus’ 150-degree field-of-view allows ‘fish-eye’ mode (check out the camera samples below). We tried it once and said, “Never again!”
Ultrawide photos are cut from 150 degrees, so you won’t get 50MP, but few require it. Several photos were oversharpened yet had no lens distortion.
Flagship Deal!
Some flagship telephoto lenses zoom 5x-10x. 8MP phones are mediocre.
Photos were clear at this magnification but blurry at 30x. Pressing the zoom icon froze the camera app.
The camera app’s colour profile changes as you zoom. Wide photographs were pale, primary photos yellower, and zoom photos darker. Different cameras produce different-looking photos.
Portrait mode took social-media-ready portraits. Camera app hiccups.

OnePlus’ Portrait mode blurs the background, but we found it excessive because it doesn’t adapt for depth; the subject’s ground may be as blurry as the far background. Inconsistent blur function.
Some subjects may not like Portrait mode’s bokeh. It had no fuzzy hairs. Our dog photos were huge hairballs.
With front-facing portraits, the phone’s AI blurred or focused random sections of the image.
Use the 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera in regular mode or less blurry Portrait mode.
The new programme “improved Portrait mode” after our photography testing. Another camera test showed no changes, although OnePlus is upgrading camera functions.
8K video recording is possible, but to use AI features like stabilisation or colouring, you must convert to 1080P.
OnePlus’ second year with Hasselblad branding (and the marketing material).
Cooperation includes a new Pro mode and XPAN mode, which captures letterboxed, wide-angle photos.
Hasselblad-sounding orange shutter buttons. We explored these Oppo Find X5 Pro features but never used them.
Most cameras work. We’d never employ fisheye or tilt-shift lenses economically or socially.
OnePlus removed the Macro camera function from the OnePlus 9 series. Ultra-wide camera photos don’t compare to macro lenses.
Many defects aren’t deal-breakers. They found OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera lacking.
Specifications Of OnePlus 10 Pro
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powers the OnePlus 10 Pro. RAM 8GB or 12GB.
The OnePlus 9 throttled certain programmes a year ago, lowering their processing power ( reducing the processing power they could use). Testers recognised the phone’s maximum potential, not its usefulness.
OnePlus did this to save battery life and prevent overheating, however, a ‘High Performance’ mode disables it. This option optimises phone performance. To prevent battery overheating, we turned it off.
The phone’s multi-core score improved from 2,788 to 3,015.
OnePlus 8 got 3,159. OnePlus 9 scored 3,654 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Improved AI and battery life.
The phone’s performance was good. Above mid-2000, the difference is small. Speed has diminishing returns for most programmes. Mid-range phones play premium games.
Some phones’ Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 overheats. In performance mode, the OnePlus 10 Pro can game longer.
Charging, taking photos, and watching movies heat the phone, causing it to overheat.
OnePlus 10 Pro runs Android and Oxygen OS 12. If you squint, ColorOS resembles Oppos.
Oppo isn’t duplicating as OnePlus’ owner. OnePlus will adopt ColorOS after merging. We don’t know why this decision was reversed given the similarities.
Forks change Android’s appearance. Typography, backgrounds, and always-on display give OnePlus ‘feel’
We couldn’t give Oppo three points. Find X5 Pro’s quick settings, homepage, and personalization menus are similar.
AI sketches portraits from always-on phone displays. Hard to photograph, our review photos may not show it.
OnePlus has apps. Zen Mode puts your phone in aeroplane mode to help you focus. HyperBoost Games boost your phone’s processing power for gaming.
What About Battery?
PowerOnePlus
OnePlus 10 Pro’s battery life was good. Premium-phone standard?
The full charge lasted a day. 0% early.
Widescreen, 120Hz refresh rate, always-on display, powerful processor, and 5G drain 5,000mAh battery. A day works.
Anywhere fast-charging. Most regions get 80W-charging OnePlus 10 Pro. Charger.
In the US, mains power and OnePlus’ tech limit charging to 65W. Samsung and Apple are slower in the US.
Everywhere has 50W wireless. OnePlus 10 Pro-reverse-charges.
